OMG, what a crazy weekend... | My Relocation Diaries
Переглядів 3,3 тис.День тому
I’ve been teasing it for the past few weeks, but on June 1, we finally had our student meetup! We had 80 students come from all around the world to meet each other - most of us meeting for the very first time in person! It was so incredible, emotional, and special to connect with the students that I’ve known over the screen (some of them for more than 5 years!) and finally hug them in real life...

Wonderful
Education systems are failing when adults need videos like this for very common words
What about words like "concise" and "exercise". I think it's "s" in the first case and "z" in the second, but am not sure how to explain it. Is it because of stressed vs. unstressed syllable? Do you have a video on this?
So this is Chinese 😢

Would you mind if i want you to expain what is the rules using which the pharses.
Hi Hadar!,"usted" is more neutral and implies courtesy, formality and distance between the sender and receiver of the message. On the other hand, "tú" indicates familiarity, closeness and already implies a certain level of trust with the person you are talking to.

done, thank you so much for this!
Some considerarions on this great video according to the IPA: 1) Open front unrounded vowel /a/ was placed in the position of near open central unrounded vowel /ɐ/ 2) Open-mid back unrounded vowel ʌ when placed in a central position should be represented as ʌ̈ - in some english dialects it could also be fronted to ɜ or fronted and lowered to ɐ
Very interesting
Her next video: How to pronounce Mike...Mikeyyyyy
Що не так з цими словами ? Навіщо говорити що вони відрізняться , у швидкій вимові це взагалі не відрізнити
Cadaqués is an awsome place. It is just at the very end of the Pyrenees chain, so geologically it is a "mountain village by the sea". Pay attention to the blackness of the stones on roofs and floors and everywhere: this belongs to the Alpine folding millions of years ago. Salvador Dalí was born in the area... No wonder some of his first paintings!! Cadaqués is gorgeous❤❤❤❤
And yes, having a car makes ALL the difference! You can buy a "coche kilómetro cero", cheaper than a new one, excellent quality.
